Caravan Park - Protea Hotel in Karridene

Mario and I spent 10 glorious days at the caravan Park - Protea Hotel in Karridene. We were very impressed that I thought I would let other members of the Motor Home club of South Africa know of this "little gem", just outside Amamzintoti, in KZN. The camp site was prestine in cleanliness, the ablutions as well. Staff very friendly.

| Your Comments on the Experience at the Camping Site | Apart from the levels problem it is very good, if a bit far from Pretoria which we were visiting on business. Pleaqse note that your site will not accept a cell number for the resort telephone number so I have put in a fictitious one, which is at least a landline number! |

| Your Comments on the Experience at the Camping Site | No Braai facilities, and on a bit of a slope. A few sites with a seaview, but the others look onto houses. OK for an overnight or if you are a fisherman! A lot of floodlight pollution. |

| Your Comments on the Experience at the Camping Site | Very good small camp. Electricity is brought to site with an extension lead! There is wonderful dark sky there as they will turn off all security lights on request. |
